Reporting and compliance Bloom Nepal foundation

Bloom Nepal Foundation supports children denied good education, to access quality education in residential settings. These children come from difficult economic backgrounds and are dispersed in various parts of the country. Every year, the foundation gets approached by extremely talented children and is not able to take a majority of students who apply.

Selection Methodology: Kopila Nepal Foundation calculates weighted index taking into account indicators on family background, education achievements, ethnic and minority status (girls and marginal/vulnerable children are given priority) and geographic backwardness. The information is extracted from the applications submitted, which should be accurately supplied by the parents of applying students.

Application form Distribution: The application form will be available from website bloomnf.org or in printed version at Kopila Nepal Foundation Office. Application notice will be shared by April 1 of every month. The form is also sent to various schools through partner teachers and schools.

Application form submission: The application form has to be submitted by July 31 either by hand to Kopila Nepal Office or through email.

Publishing of the Results: Final result will be entirely dependent on the scores obtained on indicators. This result will then be verified and approved by the Kopila Foundation Board.

Monitoring: Kopila Nepal Foundation will also do a background check and home visit, with help of local authorities to verify that the student needs support.
